This personable little girl acts so much like a playful pup that we need to look at those big, beautiful ears to remind us just which species she is! Lets describe Faiths typical behavior, and you can be the judge. Faith loves to run around, play with her toys, and chow down on a good meal. She races over to greet her foster parents whenever they approach her pen. She loves her exercise time and is very entertaining as she does her jumps, twists and happy bunny dance. Faiths life wasnt always this happy, although youd never know it by her behavior. She was left at an animal shelter by an owner who didnt bother to mention that Faith had a very serious and very obvious eye problem. The shelter vet said it appeared to be an old injury and that Faith was now blind in that eye. A shelter worker called us to see if we could bring Faith into our rescue group, because she feared this damaged bunny would be put down so the shelter wouldnt have to spend any money on medical treatment. How could we say no? Fortunately, we had foster space and agreed to take Faith. Our expert rabbit vet recommended removing Faiths eye. She assured us that Faith was otherwise completely healthy and could look forward to a totally normal life. So here we are today, enjoying a rabbit thats SOOOO wonderful happy, active, sociable and altogether delightful. What we find especially interesting is that visitors to Faiths foster home have enjoyed watching her antics never noticing that she has only one eye! Faith certainly doesnt seem to notice either, and she behaves like a typical bunny in every way. Faith is a small, very pretty black-and-white Dutch rabbit who will make a great companion to a family willing to spend lots of time with her.
