Handsome, calm and loving, I am always making new friends! In fact, I get so excited when seeing my friends that I wiggle so hard, some people say I might wiggle by butt right off! My foster parents taught me sit, paw, give, down and stay and introduced me to new canine friends while in foster care so I have been having lots of fun enjoying new experiences each and every day! I really look forward to going for walks and my foster parents haven't had to clip my nails because my walking keeps them filed down! Really love sitting next to you or with a canine buddy to snuggle and I enjoy chewing on my toys while you tend to your own tasks around the home. While I am crate trained, I am also housetrained and will potty on command pretty quickly when going outside. I?m very used to getting bathed and enjoy eating a good meal to keep my immune system and skin in great shape. I do love the outdoors and can walk 8 miles as long as the temperature is not hotif I get too hot, I may need to take a run through the hose/sprinklergreat summer fun! I have especially enjoyed playing with all the smaller dogs of all types like Chihuahua's, Shitztu's, Lhasa's and puppies both males and females, even the ones that are fiesty and climb on me because they are so light. In fact, the small dogs that are shy around other dogs tend to like me! Some of my best friends are larger males including an American Bull Dog and a Wheaton Terrier that I play in the yard with and go for walks and I do have 2 girlfriends. You will find that I get shy around the larger dogs and I'm not fond of them jumping on me because they knock me down. I?d be very grateful to join a home with someone who understands that while I am well-behaved, I am also strong and need proper exercise, good food and attention to vet care. While I am also great with kids of all ages and children love to give me treats and make me do tricks,my foster parents say a home with children 10 yrs plus would be best. Oh, no cats pleaseI tend to like to play 'chase' with them a little too much!
